Kellie turned 4 on Nov. 22. I can't believe my baby is 4 years old!

We had a little birthday party with her pals, Ava and Presley! They are soooo cute!!!

This is how I found Paden when I woke up one morning. He saw that it had snowed and was ready to be out playing in it!

So some weeks ago we had a chance to go to a place called "Pirates Cove." I like to refer to it as a little bit of Heaven on Earth! It's a house near Lake Mead owned by a friend of a friend who apparently makes a few more dollars a paycheck than we do. With 3 swimming pools, 25 bedrooms, 3 kitchens and a bizillion other amenities, I like to refer to it as a resort. The pools, waterslides and the all you can stand to eat soft serve ice cream and icee machine were a few highlights of our vacation. Oh yea, did I mention we spent Saturday afternoon swimming and watching a BYU football game with Chad Lewis (played for BYU and the Eagles)? Ok, now go ahead and be jealous...LOL! Thanks to all who made this trip possible!!!!

This is the waterslide that goes through the ship. This was a super fun waterslide, part of it was in the dark with glowing rings inside the slide, complete with pirate music and skeleton pirates throughout. Did I mention this was MY favorite part? Well, it was... so fun! Oh yea, at the top of the pic is Becca jumping off the ship into the pool, she was so brave!

December was a very busy month for us. In between doing all the Christmas and holiday stuff we traveled to Hawaii for a week with my cousin Brandy and her husband Jeremy. We had a great time and kept very busy. We did pretty much everything there was to do there including kayaking, parasailing, hiking, snorkeling, sunbathing, watching the huge waves at the north shore, going to a luau, and our top favorite surfing. It was easy to forget about Christmas in the beautiful 82 degree weather, but every once in a while we would see a surfing santa or a Christmas tree decorated in local flowers and we would be reminded of Christmas time. Here are few pictures of our vacation (I am not trying to leave Amos out of our pics, but he was always taking the pictures because he wanted to be using his new camera.)
